A collection of songs tracked in true DIY fashion.
The final production of this recording is nothing more than an honest, simple, and "no-gloss" replication of Jason's song writing and style.
Moving on from this first album 'Preparations' this project this time was about taking it back to basics.
'Melted Hands' was an attempt to elevate a really quirky idea. Four octave notes, which by themselves sound like a musical train wreck, pieced together with a chorus like a thick, hot pepper sauce, and a sweet bridge like an ode to romance.
'Enterprise View' circulates the idea of the "portrait" white collar/business world persona.
The lyrics in 'Surprise' describe how your creations as an artist might not have been intended to change the world. But to hear that your music has positively influenced someone can be a beautiful and surprising outcome.
'For Brighter Lights' talks about the change that comes with moving your life interstate or overseas, and the positive rewards this brings.
The album finishes with 'Resolve' - which had the potential for a big production but left in a simple state, talks about the effects of a person's mental challenge and their desire to better themselves.
